DiG Architects is an award‑winning architecture and design firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in innovative, modern residential and commercial projects. Founded by David I. Goldschmidt, the practice is committed to design excellence through a rigorous, research‑driven process. Leveraging advanced BIM and 3D modeling technologies, DiG Architects approaches each project with an intense level of investigation, prioritizing clarity of design, attention to detail, client collaboration, and sustainable strategies.

David I. Goldschmidt holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University and a Master of Architecture from Tulane University. While at Tulane, he participated in the Barcelona–Paris–Briey summer program, living and studying at Le Corbusier’s Unité d’Habitation in Briey, France. His professional experience includes work with internationally recognized firms such as Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) and Dattner Architects in New York City, as well as Perkins&Will and Lord Aeck Sargent in Atlanta.

A Registered Architect in the State of Georgia, LEED AP BD+C–accredited professional, and NCARB‑certified architect, David brings more than 25 years of experience across a diverse range of project types. His portfolio includes modern residences, educational facilities, healthcare buildings, civic and cultural institutions, multifamily housing, mixed‑use developments, and office environments—each defined by a thoughtful response to context, program, and sustainability.
